About Airport Workers Union
Airport Workers Union is a newly established, independent and worker-led organisation dedicated to supporting airport workers across Australia. We bring workers together to promote fair treatment, safer workplaces, stronger representation and access to valuable member support.
Our vision is to build a united national community for workers across Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin airports. Whatever your role or employer, every airport worker deserves to be heard, respected and supported.

Who can join Airport Workers Union?
Airport workers from a wide range of roles and employers are welcome to apply for membership, including workers in ground operations, catering, baggage handling, transport, security, cleaning, customer service, maintenance, administration and other airport-related services. Membership remains subject to the union’s eligibility requirements.
Members can access workplace advocacy, safety support and exclusive partner benefits. These include access to more than 15 lawyers, a 20% discount on legal services, physiotherapy support, and mental health and wellbeing services. Eligibility, availability and individual service conditions may apply.
